Menu's Options

F1 (Help)

Help screen displaying the function key and its specific operation. Help may be obtained by pressing this key in most parts of the program.

F2 (Create)

Create a NEW master key system. If pressed while a system currently resides in system memory a prompt will ask if the current system is to be saved or destroyed.

F3 (Edit)

Edit a system currently generated, so it may be regenerated with a different set of parameters. A prompt will ask if current systems is to be saved or destroyed.

F4(Print)

Print the current system in memory to the printer. The number of pages may be specified by start, and end parameters.

F5 (Display)

Display the current system on the screen. View change keys and master key information.

F6 (File)

Save/Retrieve systems via the disk system.

F7 (CrossKey)

Generate charts for possible cross-keyed cylinders. A system must be generated before charts may be entered.

F8 (Exit)

Exit the program, and prompt user to save to disk if needed.

O (Other)

Program Information, and current memory allocations.

Each of the Function keys described performs a specific action, and the functions that are available will be displayed on the bottom of the screen. Other options may be detailed on the help screen, which is available by pressing (F1).
