F6 - File Operations 

Function key (F6)

After a system has been generated you may wish to save the system for future use or reference. This option offers a means to SAVE, RETRIEVE, and DISPLAY information stored to the disk system.

SAVE - Upon selection a name will need to be entered that will reference the current system generated. This name does not have to be the same as the name displayed in the generation screen. The name entered can be up to eight letters, and/or numbers.

RETRIEVE - Upon selection all files saved in the current working environment will be displayed. Select a file by pressing enter on the highlighted selection, or use a mouse and click on the specific file.

DELETE - Press enter on the highlighted file, or click the mouse pointer on the file which needs deleting.

*** NOTE: If using one disk drive (Floppy or Mini) there may be problems when the disk begins to fill. The program operates with temporary files, and it is highly recommended that files be transferred to a secondary disk for storage
